XDC/Hyperfest
We will be headed back to West Virginia for this years Hyperfest and XDC drift competition. Last years drift comp had Nate Brasz on top, can he hold his crown or will he get phazed out? There will be plenty more going on that weekend as well; 24 hrs of Lemons will be there along with Hyperfest’s signature Rice Rice challenge. So it has been a busy few weeks between ECBII, Formula D, and Hyperfest. I have had my Formula D photos uploaded for a while now but have neglected to post them, so click here to visit the gallery.
Next order of business, Hyperfest. What an awesome event! You cannot go wrong with booze, fireworks, half-naked models, and drifting (on 3 different tracks!). Needless to say we are eager to attend again in 2010. Huge thanks to the Mishchief.tv crew for hosting us in Maryland on Friday night. Another thanks to Redline Designs for hooking us up with our badass new vinyls – keep an eye out for these to start showing up on drift cars all over the place! While on the subject of Jersey Streets exposure, Brian managed to impress Jarod DeAnda, voice of Formula D, with his taste for beer and drifting. Back from West Virginia
What a weekend. So we just got back from an awesome time at hyperfest. I had never been to Summit Point before and after spending some time there I wish I could go every weekend. An awesome facility with a kick ass event made for a great weekend despite the on and off rain. Dug Dug passed out and 2 Clubloose drivers taking home 2nd and 4th in the US Drift comp were my higlights of the weekend. Congrats to Steve Angerman for taking 2nd and Wagner for taking 4th. We should have our pictures up in a day or two and video next week.
