An early day for Rhys Millen

Coming in high and close to the rails on the first bank, Rhys put pressure on Sam as he came up on the Challenger’s door. It was clear that the Red Bull Genesis had the advantage entering the second run. However, Keyboard Cat had something else in store for the 37 year old racing veteran. With his Hyundai Genesis, he tried to kick it hard and fast for a high entrance into the first bank. The Genesis decided not to cooperate as it hit the rail and rode it all the way around the bank. Coming out of the incline, the Red Bull Hyundai was one rear tire short and the front control arm appears to have buckled giving the win to Hubinette.
